Flooring Appt. and Stakes Markers are up!

So we had our flooring appt today! My husband decided to change the standard vinyl flooring in the kitchen and morning room to laminate:) and we also changed the foyer to laminate even though hardwood came with it. We wanted the house to be consistent. Our choice for the laminate flooring was the tropical cherry in the kitchen, morning room, and foyer. The carpet is standard Thornwood and upgraded padding throughout the house to 8 lbs I believe. The bathrooms are all standard vinyl and we picked the Gienville color for that. Our appt was short bc we knew what we wanted thanks to all the other Ryan Homes bloggers out there:) my husband kept thinking that vinyl was laminate and laminate was vinyl for some odd reason until he saw it. He said it was too ugly for him and wouldn't look good in the kitchen so we upgraded. Lol... Thank goodness!! I didn't want vinyl in the kitchen either! And it would be expensive to replace and install later on with laminate flooring. So we are good with flooring. Btw I was 15-20 minutes late for our flooring appt bc I got my time all messed up! Lol... But I made it and it didn't last long which was good!
I went to check out the lot after lunch with the husband and they finally had the stake markers out to align where the house will be. There are 4 pin pointing where each corner of the house will be:) when I saw it, I was thinking to myself wow, this is gonna be a huge house!! Anyways I took some pictures of the flooring and where the stake markers are. Just two pictures altogether. Enjoy!!
