APPROVED!!!

The NVR LO called my husband today and told us that we have been approved and sent us an email with the approval letter and what other things we would need to do. I must say, we are so happy and blessed to have come this far! We didn't think we would get approved but God truly does work in His own wonderful ways. We will be receiving the printed letter via mail in the next couple of day. She was a very pleasant lady so I'm just glad she called about approval! Thank God!!

Framing done!!

They finished the framing in 2 days!! I'm so excited and this all just seems to be more real! I think they're wanting to finish so they can start building the future phase. The quicker the better for us:) I have pictures too! There were some things that our PM needs to see but he hasn't inspected the framing yet. I believe our SR said he should be out this week to inspect the framing. Can't wait to start our pre-drywall meeting!! Let's hope and pray the rates go back down:) anyways here are some pictures!

Lumber is here and Framing begins! Along with some frustrations...

Our PM emailed us yesterday late afternoon to let us know that the lumber had been dropped off and they will be framing the next day meaning TODAY!! My husband and I are extremely excited! We have been following some other people's blogs and they usually finish framing in a 2 week range! We will be dropping by the house tomorrow to take a look at how far along they've come. I can't wait to see how the house looks! On another note, I am up extremely early today not because I want to be but because I have been having this cramping pain on my left butt cheek going from there up to the lower part of my back! It was so bad that I could not walk! Literally!! So I am up, excited, and very frustrated at the moment! I just had a flashback when my husband and I were at the flooring company and I remember, the flooring lady told us that we had the standard wall tile for the owners bathroom. Well, I remember stating to my husband while we were there that we shouldn't have wall tile and it should be ceramic surround in the bathroom. I finally looked over the contract today and it turns out I WAS RIGHT! She insisted that we had the standard wall tile but I knew that it just wasn't right in my gut and I told myself to look over the contract when I got home that day but I didn't!! I just emailed my SR and the flooring rep and told them both that we had the ceramic surround in the owners bathroom! I am extremely upset. I feel like I have to keep up with my life and other people's jobs. I hope that we can pick out the ceramic surround for our bathroom because we are 2 weeks and 3 days PASSED our deadline to make changes on the house. I will be extremely pissed off if I am told that it is too late to make any changes. My husband hasn't even signed the newly updated contract yet so they better make an exception or I am gonna start asking for free things. LOL...Anyways, that is my rant for today. I am seriously going to call my SR today because it takes forever for him to reply to an email especially in an emergency! I hope the flooring rep responds since it was her error. I should of insisted myself because it is my house being built first of all! I need to get my pregnant butt back to bed so I don't blast them out because I am extremely grouchy right now. A pregnant woman with no sleep means a crazy lady who will go off on anybody. Anyways, I just wanted to share the great news along with some frustration in the flooring company and our SR not mentioning anything about it... I'll have some pictures soon!
